Vision Statement

We believe in the One God who is triune in nature. Eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, who are all co-equal in nature, power and holiness, possessing and sharing the same attributes. That the 2nd person of the triune God, the Son became a man and continues to live in the same body that he died and rose again in.

We believe the Scripture is of divine inspiration and origin, infallible and inerrant and consists of 66 books. It is the believer's guide and final authority in living a life pleasing to God. We believe that each person has a responsibility interpreting Scripture with the guidance and revelation of the Holy Spirit for their own personal growth. We believe that the Scriptures alone give us everything pertaining to a life of godliness and conformity to the Son, having instruction for a victorious and righteous life.

We believe that Jesus Christ was the only begotten of the Father through the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, He was both fully God and fully man in one person and lived a perfect, sinless life, fulfilling the law perfectly. We believe that he is the eternal son of God who took on an additional nature of humanity through Mary.

We believe that all of mankind was created in the image of God to reflect His nature. When Adam sinned by choice we incurred the results of his sin and have become sinners in our nature and the image of God in mankind is now marred. All of mankind is spiritually separated from God and dies physically as a consequence of sin.

We Believe that only through Christ's sacrifice, the Son of God who lived a sinless life, and gave it as the atonement for our sin unto the Father can someone be brought back into a relationship with God. We believe that Christ by his own will in pleasing the Father gave Himself as a ransom for all of mankind. We believe that He bore the full penalty and judgment that God's holiness demands against sin.

We believe that all who repent and exercise faith in Jesus Christ receive salvation as a free gift apart from any work, being justified by the merits of Christ's death alone and regenerated by the Holy Spirit and given eternal life. We believe that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to do good works, which are expected of those who have had a change of life.

We believe that by faith all believers, both Jews and gentiles, are baptized into His body by the Holy Spirit and become part of the Church. We believe that we are indwelled by the Holy Spirit eternally, by which we are given spiritual gifts and talents to use to build up the body and further his kingdom here on earth.

We believe that Christ rose from the dead in a physical body that is glorified never to die again and He continues in the same body forever. He ascended and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father mediating as the eternal high priest for His church and ruling in the heavens.

We believe in the immortality of the soul and the resurrection of the body of both the saved and the unsaved; for the saved, eternal life with God, and for those who reject the only gospel for salvation, eternal punishment.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only hope for mankind and the only way to God the Father.

We believe that every person is equally important and equally essential in the purposes of God.

We believe that spiritual gifts (such as prophecy, words of knowledge and speaking in tongues) and the working of miracles is as much for the church today as they were in Biblical times.

We believe in the work of the five-fold ministry (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers) in the encouraging, equipping and discipling of the church.

We believe that physical, emotional and spiritual healing are available through faith in Jesus Christ and His completed work on the cross.

We believe that it is every Christian's responsibility to follow Christ's command to his disciples as spoken by Him in the book of Matthew:

Matthew 10:8 - "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give".

Matthew 28:18-20 - "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

From a very young age I can remember being fascinated by such questions as - Is there a God? If there is a God, then who made Him? How was the universe created? What happens when you die? I can remember lying awake at night and crying because I was afraid of dying, as I thought that I would just be plunged into nothingness, and I was sad because of the pointlessness of it all.

I became increasingly interested in mysteries and the occult. I searched in many different places for God, including astral projection, seances, tarot cards, demonology, race memories, music and drugs. None of these things that I tried could answer my deep longing for God.

I would say that I first heard Jesus calling out to me when I was about 14. I remember sitting in the lounge with my family, listening to music with the lights out and candles burning, when I suddenly looked out of the window at the moon, which was particularly big and bright that night. I looked up at the moon and said "There must be more to life than this..." I was moved by a feeling of love that I had never felt before - God's love.

I was saved when I was 15, and at just the right time, because I was by this time becoming more heavily involved with the occult, and particularly with astral projection, I would also experience demonic spirits entering into my bedroom. One night, after a particularly unpleasant experience on the astral planes, Satan came to me and said in an audible voice "If you sell me your soul, I will give you all that a young man desires - women, fame, power and money". I then heard God say to me, also audibly "If you will turn to Me, I will set you free, and give you My love and salvation, and you will have eternal life". I said "I am not the devil's and I am not God's. I am mine and I will do what I want with my own life!" Little did I know at that stage how wrong I was!

A little while later, in my English lesson, I was given the choice of a topic to write about. I chose to prove that the promises of God in the Bible were all false! Looking back on it now, I was on very dangerous ground, and so by God's grace He saved me at just the right time.

I was invited to a youth club by a friend of mine, whose Dad was the Pastor of a Pentecostal church in Chester. I went along because Peter had told me that there would be a disco there, and so I thought it would be fun. I went along to the church, dressed in my denim jeans and jacket, with studs and chains all over them, and patches of Satanic heavy metal bands such as Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden. I must have looked so out of place as I walked into the church, and saw all of the Christian teenagers there, looking very innocent. I thought of going back outside again, but only for a minute, as I was suddenly confronted with a feeling of love and acceptance that I had not known before. Instead of looking at me like something evil and dirty, the other teenagers showed me friendship and love. I took off my jacket and threw it behind one of the sofas, and joined in with their fun and games. I was accepted!

After speaking to the youth pastor, I went home and spent some time just being quiet with my eyes closed. It was at this point that I first knew God's calling on my life. I saw a vision of myself standing in front of an auditorium filled with people of different races and cultures, and I was speaking to them. I looked into the sky and I saw what I later found out to be the Holy City of God - the New Jerusalem - coming down to earth. God spoke to me and said "I am calling you as a prophet to the nations".

I did not know anything about prophecy, except some strange idea about somebody coming out of the desert with long hair, dressed strangely and talking about future events. I decided that if this was for me then God would have to teach me a lot more. I asked Jesus to come into my life and I was dramatically saved.

Soon afterwards I was baptised in the Holy Spirit, and I began to prophesy in my local church (Queen Street Christian Centre - then called Chester Pentecostal Church). I had several prophetic words spoken over my life concerning my call to the nations as a prophet, and I always knew that God had destined for this ministry to begin in South Africa.

I met my wonderful wife Heather in 1986, and we were married in Chester during August 1987.

Before going into full-time ministry, Heather had been a primary and nursery school teacher, and I had worked for several years as a computer technician for local government.

In January of 1997 I made my first ministry visit to South Africa. It was a very interesting and challenging visit, and we saw God do many wonderful things through the ministry.

I was asked to go back to South Africa and minister in May of 1997, and this time I went with Heather. It was during this visit that I made my first contact with the South African government. I had sent a prophecy that God had given me for South Africa to JOY! magazine, who had published it. A friend of mine then sent the prophecy to the ACDP (African Christian Democratic Party), and the President of the party, Kenneth Meshoe, asked me to come and visit with him. We spent some time together praying and talking, and we had an immediate friendship and understanding between us.

Since then Heather and I have walked closely with the ACDP as friends and spiritual advisors, ministering and sharing prophetically with them as God has led us, and speaking at a number of meetings.

I returned to South Africa again in November of 1997, and again in August of 1998, ministering at different churches in the country.

Heather and I went into fulltime ministry on the 1st of January 1999, and we spent the following year ministering around South Africa in many different churches and also spent time working alongside the ACDP (click here for more information on the ACDP).

God gave us the name "Eagle's Wings (Prophetic) Ministries" whilst we were in prayer during our time in South Africa, based on the eagle being a symbol of the prophet - soaring freely into the presence of God, seeing a great distance and seeing things in perspective.

We spent 2000 and 2001 ministering in the USA, Namibia and South Africa and we eventually ended up living in South Africa from September of 2001 until the end of 2003.

Heather and I are now back in Chester (England), where I am working as an IT technician for Liverpool City Council and Heather is working as a supervisor in an after school/nursery/holiday club.

We are involved with local ministries and churches in the Chester area and I use my (quite extensive) leave entitlement to travel and minister in different countries.

You can read about our various areas of ministry and our work in other countries on other pages on this web site.
